About Us
St. Paul’s is an exciting and growing parish. Our members are a diverse group of people from Montvale and many of the surrounding towns in New Jersey and New York. We are young and old, families and individuals, newcomers and long-time members. While we gather and worship within the structures of the Episcopal Church, a large number of our members are not Episcopal and did not grow up in the Episcopal tradition.
Our worship style is relaxed and welcoming. In our tradition all individuals are welcome to take communion at the rail, or if handicapped or disabled, at their seats. We also offer an alternative to wine for those abstaining from alcohol.
We have a wonderful choir and organist to lead our singing, and our people participate fully in all aspects of our worship time. Our Sunday School has 90 students and a large group of adult volunteer teachers and assistants. We also have an active youth group that meets each month. We at St. Paul’s have a strong commitment to outreach and serving those around us who are in need. At least once each month of the year we have a social gathering for the entire parish family, which could be a potluck supper, a progressive dinner or an outdoor picnic.
We invite you to join us! Come as you are - you are welcome here!
