Welcome Rev. Joyce McGirr

Please join us in welcoming Rev. Joyce McGirr on Sunday, September 8th. She will be serving as a Supply Priest at St. Paul’s for the next few months as we continue our transition journey. We will have one service on Sundays at 10am, the Wednesday mid-day service and the Family service on the third Saturday of the month at 5pm.

Knitters & Crocheters

They will hold their season opener on Tuesday, September 10th at 7 pm at the home of Rita McCarthy, 14 Bayberry Dr. Montvale (201-391-0194). St Paul’s K&C members traditionally knit baby hats and blankets for Preemie & full term babies born at St Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson. However, newcomers always are welcome to come just to relax for an evening of good conversation and refreshment and can bring their own projects to work on. If you would like to hear more about us, see Janet Tunick or Ann Hirsch.

Wednesday Holy Eucharist

Noon Holy Eucharist will resume on Wednesday, September 11th.  All are welcome!

Ree Hopper’s Book Fundraiser

We have an author among us! Our own Ree Hopper has written a book about the Borough of Montvale which is set to be released just in time to celebrate the town’s 125th Anniversary. There will be a book signing and reception on October 6th at the Montvale Library. Ree has graciously set aside some of the books to be sold as a fundraiser for St. Paul’s at $21.99 each. Please join us in congratulating Ree and to pre-order a copy to enjoy. Please make your purchase payable to St. Paul’s Church and submit it to the church office or to Ree Hopper. Thank you.

Transition Questions/Concerns

You are welcome and invited to contact the office with any questions/concerns pertaining to our church and the transition. To ensure you receive the most accurate and up-to-date information, we will connect you with the Wardens and Vestry. They are the members authorized to respond on behalf of the church.

Also, please review our Update letters.  They are an additional resource to keep up-to-date on the Transition progress.

Dozens of Fresh Eggs

Dear parish family,
As you may or may not know, our family has been raising chicks for a year now and are becoming overwhelmed with eggs.  Our eggs are all natural non-gmo, some brown and some greenish blue. We have a refrigerator behind our garage where we store the eggs for anyone interested in picking up.  Our address is 5 Edgren Way, Montvale.  Please feel free to come by at your convenience and pick up a dozen or more. Come anytime.  It would be helpful if you return the cartons when you are done.  Thanks,
The Piatt Family
