Advent Meditations by the Laity
You are invited to send a story of about 200 words to the Diocese. It should tell about the gifts God has given you; how you discovered them, how you have used them, and how they impact your spiritual life. Your story should be submitted by November 15th. Click here for more details.

Please join us for Family Game Night on Saturday, November 16 at 5:00pm. We will serve soup, sandwiches and juice, but feel free to bring any other food and beverage. We will have several tables set up with games, jigsaw puzzles, and coloring books. Bring the children and enjoy an evening of fun and socializing.

Meets at 10am in the education building. Join Kate Brousseau as she introduces a new program called “Hands-On Bible”. The 2019 school dates are 11/17, 12/1, 12/15 & 12/22.
The Christmas Pageant rehearsals will take place during the December Sunday school classes.

Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

Thanksgiving at the Paterson Men’s Shelter
Please help us to provide Thanksgiving dinner and extra meals for Thursday 11/28 through Saturday 11/30 at the Paterson Men’s Shelter. We are in need of helpers to make food so it can be delivered and served to the men. Please speak with Jon Felz (#914-450-9888) if you are interested.

Transition Note
The Transition Process can take a minimum of 18-24 months. Saint Paul’s is in the Separation and Planning Stage during which we are encouraged to reflect on the past and dream about where the future will lead us. This time is an opportunity to see where God calls us to go and should be looked on as a gift.

Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy
During times of inclement weather, a notice of cancellation will be on the outgoing church answering machine message and posted on the church website by 8:30am that Sunday morning. Regardless of cancellation, please always choose safety first.

Pastoral Care Needed?

The St. Paul’s Outreach Mission’s Pay It Forward program has started. We are asking for our parish families or individuals, to reach into their hearts and discover ways to give back. The choices are endless. The Outreach Program shares $25 with those who are planning to participate in this amazing endeavor. Do you have any keys for St. Paul’s doors or locks? Please let the office know. We are establishing a Key Log. A key log is in the narthex (lobby of the church). Transition Questions/Concerns

Sunday Morning Teen Group
Meets some Sundays at 10am during the school year. We are always looking for more members. Any teens 7th grade through high school are welcome to join. To be included in Teen Group communications, please send your e-mail address to John Looes, jslooes@gmail.com.

We are 5th – 12th grade boys & girls (parishioners and not!), that get together once a month for activities that foster fellowship, outreach, and good ol’ fashioned socialization! We play games, we communicate in an open environment, we play more games, eat pizza and the evening passes by quite quickly. We hope you’ll join us at our meetings. Feel free to invite friends. St. Paul’s Nursery School Notice
Registration is now open for 2019-2020. Click Here.
We offer 3 & 5 day classes for young 3s, 3 & 4yr olds. We have extended hours before & after school as well. We always strive to adapt our program to the ever changing needs of the Nursery School families. The school was established in 1969 as part of St. Paul’s Church and continues to serve the community by providing an excellent kindergarten readiness program.

Pastoral Care

Sunday Altar Flowers & Bread
Memorialize the Sunday altar flowers or bread. Sign-up on the board in the rear of the church. Your name and your memorial will be printed in the bulletin on the Sunday you choose.
Flower Memorials – please donate $50 for the cost of the flowers.
Bread Memorials – please deliver an unsliced loaf of bread to the sacristy prior to the 10am service on the date of your memorial.
