“…the Lord does not see as mortals see…the Lord looks on the heart.”

The Fourth Sunday in Lent
Note from Rev. Joyce

Dear Friends in Christ,
The Compline Service that is attached contains prayers and readings from our Book of Common Prayer, p.127 that can be said in the evening before bedtime.
If you use your Book of Common Prayer, you can select any of the Psalms and Prayers offered.
And I offer to you this prayer for today
Heavenly Father, in you we live and move and have our being: We humbly pray you so to guide and govern us by your Holy Spirit, that in all the cares and occupations of our life we may not forget you, but may remember that we are ever walking in your sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. (BCP, p.100)
In the love and peace of Christ,
Rev. Joyce+

Reach Out

Volunteers at St. Paul’s Church are ready to assist, if you need help during this time (shopping or other things).  Please “reach out” to the church office by phone or e-mail to let us know.

Just Breathe Out

In this time of high anxiety, knowledge and availability of my book, Just Breathe Out-Using Your Breath to Create a New, Healthier You, is so very important. So I’ve provided St. Paul’s Church with the e-book versions for your use. Please contact the church so they can e-mail it to you.  I give them away freely and welcome you to do the same.
Happy trails,

Lenten Cross

This year St. Paul’s is celebrating its 125th Anniversary and for Lent we are reviving an old tradition from our 125-year history. The wooden cross pictured here is full of drilled holes-it is more than seventy years old and has been stored in our attic for many years. In the past it was used most often by having each hole filled with a flower to produce a flowering cross. It was also used to learn a Bible Verse during Lent. Click here to learn more.

Easter Flower Memorials

Transition Note

The Transition Process can take a minimum of 18-24 months. St. Paul’s is in the Separation and Planning Stage during which we are encouraged to reflect on the past and dream about where the future will lead us. This time is an opportunity to see where God calls us to go and should be looked on as a gift.

Submissions to Bulletin and Newsletter

All submissions need to be received in the church office by Monday night to ensure inclusion in the next Thursday newsletter & Sunday bulletin.  Thank you.

youth group

We are 5th – 12th grade boys & girls (parishioners and not!), that get together once a month for activities that foster fellowship, outreach, and good ol’ fashioned socialization! We play games, we communicate in an open environment, we play more games, eat pizza and the evening passes by quite quickly. We hope you’ll join us at our meetings. Feel free to invite friends. Watch the Sunday bulletin for our schedule & events.
