Transition Update #4

Rev. Hasse celebrated his final service with us at St. Paul’s on June 30th-it was a wonderful end to our 23 years together shared by family, friends, long time parishioners, and newcomers. As always, Ed’s sermon wove the lessons from the Gospel into our everyday lives. Leaving us with the message that God is with us wherever we are gathered together and charging us to continue with our mission to love and support one another.

We thank Ed for this time together and the lessons we have learned from him. Ed and Melissa and the entire Hasse family will always hold a special place in our hearts and we are better people for having known them. We wish them every happiness in their future.

Ed’s closing blessing is one that has touched many hearts and it will guide us as we move forward into the next part of our journey together at St. Paul’s ….Life is short and we do not have too much time to gladden the hearts of those who journey the way with us. So be swift to love, make haste to be kind, and remember the blessing and love of God is upon you always.

Dozens of Fresh Eggs

Dear parish family,
As you may or may not know, our family has been raising chicks for a year now and are becoming overwhelmed with eggs.  Our eggs are all natural non-gmo, some brown and some greenish blue. We have a refrigerator behind our garage where we store the eggs for anyone interested in picking up.  Our address is 5 Edgren Way, Montvale.  Please feel free to come by at your convenience and pick up a dozen or more. Come anytime.  It would be helpful if you return the cartons when you are done.  Thanks,
The Piatt Family
