Transition Update #5

The Wardens and Vestry continue to work with the Diocese Transition Counselor.  As part of this process we have been discussing various aspects of our life together at St. Paul’s.  This information will be used to help select an Interim Priest and also as an outline for the church profile as we move into the clergy search phase of the transition.  After the Vestry’s initial work with the Transition Counselor the parish will be invited to share their thoughts too.

St. Paul’s tradition of guest preachers continues throughout the summer so please join us to listen to some inspiring sermons.  Our summer services are at 9 am on Sunday morning with coffee hour afterwards.  Our family service is on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 5 pm in the church office – if weather permits it is held in the outdoor chapel.

Welcome Back Sunday will be on Sept. 8th.  We are excited by the plans underway for our fall worship programs, Sunday school, outreach projects, and social events – watch for more details and think about where you would like to join in!

As we move further into our transition journey together, we are reminded that God is the reason we are here – he is always with us to lead us, guide us, and protect us.  Our faith is strong and our belief in the teachings of Christ will continue to bind us together.  And our love for one another will carry us through.

Dozens of Fresh Eggs

Dear parish family,
As you may or may not know, our family has been raising chicks for a year now and are becoming overwhelmed with eggs.  Our eggs are all natural non-gmo, some brown and some greenish blue. We have a refrigerator behind our garage where we store the eggs for anyone interested in picking up.  Our address is 5 Edgren Way, Montvale.  Please feel free to come by at your convenience and pick up a dozen or more. Come anytime.  It would be helpful if you return the cartons when you are done.  Thanks,
The Piatt Family
